Serving Christ overseas ... an exciting opportunity to use your building skills to teach, build and be blessing to a community!

Buidling Team

Join our team!  Seeds of Hope Children's Ministry works with children orphaned because of HIV/AIDS in Zambia.  We have built Grace Academy, also known as a "Place of Grace" where children are given a loving home, medical care, and good nutrition.  We also provide education starting at pre-school going all the way to grade twelve.  We have 2+ years of construction left as we are now looking at sustainability projects including poultry and other agricultural ventures.  We will be building multiple barns and other buildings. We are looking to hiring a construction manager to not only help us in building the next phase but to also assist our national building crew in learning their trade.  For more information on this exciting, rewarding opportunity, please call 1-877-236-4673

Seeds of Hope Children's Ministry is looking for a Construction Site Supervisor. We are adding on to Grace Academy, our project is in Ndola, Zambia. Zambia is a peaceful country, English is the main language but being a third world country, building has many challenges (finding qualified trades people, good materials etc.). The successful candidate needs to be flexible and work well with people of different cultures, must have a background in construction management. Masonry experience would be beneficial but not necessary. Housing will be available. Remuneration is negotiable.  Medical, insurance and housing will be covered.  The successful candidate needs to see this not as job but a ministry.  As we are a children's ministry, the successful candidate needs to have a police background check and references.

Job Description

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Daily management of construction at Grace Academy.
  • Adhering to legal building requirements.
  • Ensuring passing of all city inspections and acquiring approval certificates.
  • Purchasing of materials.
  • Hiring of needed trades people.
  • Hiring of construction personnel.
  • Monthly financial reporting to head office.
  • Accounting of funds used for the construction project.
  • Weekly progress reporting to head office.
  • Keeping tool and equipment inventory.

Team Ministry

Have you ever longed for adventure, an opportunity to travel, and a chance to make a difference in the world? At Seeds of Hope we offer just that, with our exciting opportunity to travel with a team on a short term mission’s trip. We send about 10-11 teams a year to help serve at our projects. Most of the teams help support our largest project in Zambia. However, we also have sent teams to our project in South East Asia. Each team travels with a specific purpose to meet a need, whether it is at our school, orphanages, feeding programs or meeting the needs of those within the community. We have sent medical teams, dental teams, teacher teams, youth teams and more. When you join with us in team ministry you will work alongside the local staff, who are responding to God’s call on their lives by caring for the needy and oppressed.

Orphan Aid Thrift Store

After hearing about the difference Seeds of Hope is making in the lives of orphans overseas, a group of people got together all passionate about supporting this cause. They decided to open a thrift store, where all the proceeds go directly to support the work of Seeds of Hope. This thrift store is run entirely by volunteers, coming around the common goal of making a difference in the lives of children. If you are interested in helping:
